Why is a domain required?
Your widget code is public; without a domain lock anyone could copy your key and run it on their own site. So each widget runs on the domain you registered and silently disables itself elsewhere.
Correct format
- Enter the bare domain: example.com
- www and non-www count as the same; both work.
- No http:// and no page paths.
- For a subdomain (shop.example.com) enter the full form.
Multiple sites
The free plan allows 1 domain per widget. On Pro the same widget can run on multiple domains, added in widget settings.
Changing the domain
Update the domain field in widget settings and publish; your site code stays the same.
